The Process

From reaching out, to working together.

Reach out by email.

Send me an email so we can find a time that works for both of us to connect. I will respond within one to two business days.

We have a 15-minute consultation call.

This is free and there is no pressure. It is a place to ask any questions you may have, get a feel for how I work, and decide if it feels like a good fit.

We schedule an intake session.

If we both feel good about moving forward, we schedule your first full session. This is longer than a regular session, and we use the time to go deeper into your history, what you are carrying, and what you are hoping for.

Regular sessions begin.

From there, we meet weekly or biweekly for 50 minutes. We check in regularly on how the work is feeling and adjust as needed.

Good to Know

A few things people wonder before reaching out.

Is it normal to feel nervous?

Completely. Most people feel some version of nervous before their first session. The consultation call is low pressure and designed to help you get a feel for things before you commit.

How long does therapy usually take?

It depends. Healing is different for everyone and is influenced by your goals, life circumstances, and the experiences you're working through. We regularly check in about your progress, and I don't believe in keeping clients in therapy longer than it feels helpful.

I tried therapy before and it didn't help.

That is more common than you might think. The approach, fit, and timing all matter. The consultation call is a good way to see if this feels different.
